Ann Called Bill Cunningham's Radio Show Sunday Night

On Sunday, June 7, 2015, Ann spoke with Bill Cunningham about her new book, ¡Adios America!. The audio is on Tunein, and embedded below. It is over 1 hour and 19 minutes, but Ann is only on from minutes 39 to 56.

    Here are some quotes:

    On the national immigration debate:
"For any other issue in American life you can hear both sides. You don't hear both sides of the immigration debate. But it's something deeper and stranger than that. People don't even think... I mean, besides the... thousands of shocking facts the people do not know about immigration, which are in my book, um, people just don't even think to have a position other than anyone who is against, um, anything other than, you know, unrestricted, um, immigration, must be a horrible, cruel, mean person... The way the culture and the media set the table for what are the topics you need to have a position on... What's in today's dis- discussion? Even... good conservatives will have a position on gay marriage, and abortion, and the Iraq War, and global warming, and I probably agree with them on those positions. But they don't even think about immigration because it never comes up." [Quote found in minute 45-46.]

"A light goes out in the world when America is finished." [Quote found in minute 55.]
